3 ingredients
14 oz Broccoli florets raw
4 steps
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Place broccoli florets on a large baking sheet. Drizzle the broccoli with olive oil. Toss with a large flat spatula (or use your hands) to coat the broccoli with the oil.
- Season the broccoli with ground black pepper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until broccoli is tender and slightly browned.
Tips:
Add salt to taste, about 1/4 - 1/2 tsp, before baking (just remember to log the salt if you track sodium).
Add fresh minced garlic, garlic powder, or red pepper flakes before baking for tasty variations.
Use a bag of pre-cut, pre-washed broccoli florets for convenience.
14 oz of broccoli is about 5 1/2 cups of florets.
